@ivory my timeline occasionally freezes up and doesn’t load new posts for hours at a time. Ivory is a great app, but this has become frequent for the past weeks or so. a couple of people on this instance have experienced the same issue. other apps load posts just fine, along with the website.
been a huge fan since Ivory was in its testflight days, it a shame that every now and then that i cannot use it.
@verge His platform is literally destroying the very concept of free and easily accessible information, centralizing it into servers (lets call them communities) with invite links that eventually die, communities that eventually lose activity, and communities held together by people who could decide to pull the plug any minute. You cannot archive a Discord server as easily as you can a website. People need to stop using Discord as a place to release utilities, as a place to make announcements, and as a place for support. Why? Because eventually, the only thing we're going to be able to do is "Imagine a Place".
We do NOT need a "smaller and more private internet" in some cases. Maybe with your friend groups, but not as an alternative for forums & boards. More importantly, Discord in and of itself is the least private messaging service to date.

you're gonna be able to play as luigi, and he's gonna have his own seperate spirte, he's going to able to jump higher, spit fireballs differently, and control yoshi uniquely from mario
there's more yoshi coins, when you collect them all, you get peach coins
there's cut scenes that make the story feel more lively
and we're going to make all of these inprovements on the fucking gameboy advance, with shitty music, a horribly cropped camera, and annoying sound effects. also the colors are faded to compensate for the lack of back light

I don't know what they did, but the UI looks a lot more clinical and it feels a little less inviting than it was before with the more rounded corners and softer lines
