This has always been my concern with the tradwife movement. I can certainly see why there would be appeal but you need to be very cautious of who you want to be a tradwife to. You create a lot of dependence on your partner, You sacrifice a lot of power, and once you start doing this it becomes increasingly difficult taking it back.
Even with the perfect partner to be a tradwife to. You don't remove the problems with dependence. You can argue that "well I have full faith my partner and I will stay together" but at any point it can all get taken away.
With two partners a single layoff sucks, but you can stay afloat much better than two layoffs. It's like a two engine and a single engine plane. A two engine has redundancy, it can limp. Single engine becomes a glider after failure.
Speaking of failure, doesn't matter how angelic your partner is, heart failure will kill them and wreck your life too. Then you have life insurance but no resume or job experience. Hope you saved.
It's genuinely kind of infuriating, because start mixing in handywork, house repair, landscaping, childcare, cooking, cleaning, organizing, with the recently added 3dprinting, searching online for 2nd hand goods, volunteering within your community, a LOT of value should be getting generated... but none of it gets recorded... or removes your dependency on your partner.
You know what really irks me though? Even if we didn't go green. Those 40,000 jobs are going to vanish. Coal doesn't grow like trees. That mine will empty one day and it's going to get shut down without warning, without any severance packages, the company is just going to run. There will even still be coal in the mine, it's just no longer cheap enough to mine it.
Historically, that's how it happens. Even in this day and age the moment a better mine opportunity is found, they're gone. They make the town dependent on them, they use the town in every way they can, they donate to the schools and municipal water supply, and then they vanish without warning leaving the town in the lurch. Happens with copper, happens with gas, happens with silver and it happens with coal.
At least the green movement will give you a date, a head start, and at least an iota of sympathy.

By week 9 he has an office? EDIT: No he has access to the office in week 1, renting the shared community space costs 40 bucks a month... 40 bucks a month for what you could get from a public library. Also can't help but notice that he's also working there with film crew and editor... which is also probably 40 bucks a head. So he's a poor broke guy who is actually one broke guy and 3 to 6 non broke guys... Like, I've never rented a space like this but this sounds like bullshit.
I hate the idea of hints. Because A. You then have to make the person your interested in make their own way towards you, and B. Then they have to notice it and then take a risk. I think it's FAR better, to give your crush an opening, serve them a line on a silver platter.

"Am I too close?" To which I could've replied "nah you're good" or "yes, a bit" without any fuss. but, since I was also interested, I replied.
"Oh nonsense, if anything you're not close enough" which, can easily be dismissed as me being silly, but nope, she's interested. So she responds

Like, set up a romantic line. If there's a romantic line to be had. If they're interested, they'll take it.

Oh it's easy, they just googled "Roland voice lines" and he sounds like a perfect role for Kevin heart.
Could he pull off the borderlands 2 Roland intro? I don't think so, but I've been surprised before.
What really has me saddened is the whole pisswater gully bit. Tiny Tina is a native of pandora, Roland and Lilith are not (to my knowledge). So if anything, the roles should have been entirely reversed because:
It makes more sense.
It's way funnier.
Which means they're messing with backstory of the characters to match... nothing. Because it doesn't seem to make the writing better, and it differs from the original. It would also match Tiny Tina's character so much better and mitigate the annoying whiny child part of the character that is just SHINING through this trailer.
I don't know why, but I always imagine knights moving forward and then left or right, I always get infuriated for some reason when I see their movement described the other way around.
More tidbits for base building, because I've now joined a server and dear god these bases are making my eye twitch.
The palbox can be moved and it doesn't automatically destroy the base. It apparently destroys some objects (unsure of what, haven't seen it do that yet) and it shoves all the pals that are out into your personal storage (you should take them out manually first though by finding an empty page and filling it up. then you can easily put them all back) Do be quick putting it back though because everything slowly takes damage while outside the base area.
The palbox footprint is so freakishly large because there is a spawn area directly behind the palbox. That's where the players and pals spawn when fast traveling or summoned. They always spawn at the lowest point below that spawn area. So you can place it five stories up with the spawn area off the ledge and have people/pals spawn on the first floor. Sounds hilarious, must try in a server.
The palbox ring is really more of a vertical cylinder of control, not a sphere.
foundations can be raised and lowered easily if you try to build it as far from your body as you can
If you need to build a bit over a body of water, build a foundation as LOW as you can go, as far into the water as you can. Build a wall on the water side of the foundation, you can then build two roofs forward into the water and a roof and stairs towards the land. Extend that left and right as much as desired. It can look cludgey, but when every bit of space matters you can easily fit a ranch or farms on it. You can even throw the beds underneath this platform.
Quarries and lumbermills take priority. Pals seem to do tasks from left to right, so if you have a quarry, they don't do anything to the right of mine, and they don't mine anything but a quarry. Same thing with a lumbermill. 3 pals fill a quarry or lumbermill.
You don't need quarries and lumbermills, Especially on a server, just leave an area of trees and stone. You can mine boulders and trees for stone and palladium, and wood and fiber. All without a grinder. Yes it makes it slower, but also when everything is gone pals will do other shit while it grows back. Making it superior in many ways to a quarry or lumbermill.
Couple of interesting tidbits I've discovered during base building, because I just love the basebuilding aspect of this game.
Pals can't pass through closed doors, meaning you can actually turn off an automated task if you put it into a room with a door. So you can easily turn your wood or stone quarry on or off by opening/closing a door. Or just make a private pal proof area.
Pals can be too tall to enter a building. Two stories a floor is a good buffer to make sure everyone fits so far. (This happens so much faster than you think. Even a penking is too tall) It's an incredibly stealthy buff to the beginner small pals. (also it's a great way to filter out certain pals from doing things)
Grapple gun still works when you're encumbered, so load up on stone and wood, grapple to your palbox, fast travel to the new base, and shove all your wood and stone into a barrel. Your second base will be SOOOO much better than your first.
Speaking of barrels (they're in the early furniture research very easy to miss) they stack, and hold inventory! and you can put a chest on top of a barrel, then delete the barrel and place another chest where the barrel was.
Lot's of furniture holds inventory like the wall cabinet. It only holds two things, fill it with stone and wood and don't ever worry about someone sticking random shit in it.
You do level by building, quite quickly as a matter of fact if you have the resources. Don't be afraid to build massive buildings or towers.
shadow type pals don't sleep. Meaning if you compare a Depresso and a Cattiva, a Depresso mines more.
I'm not entirely certain but I think pals choose their tasks from left to right (meaning they seem to kindle first, transport last)
Things to avoid
Cliffside construction. Their adamant stance on "no clipping in any instance at any time" means that it will never be flush against a cliff. Mountaintops? fantastic. Plains? awesome, but good lord any vertical surface sucks, maybe satisfactory spoiled me.
It's because a person can crank out a deep fake in 3 hours, and a crappy one in one. It never cropped up because... well lets be real it was a couple of weirdos that were doing it, unless it bubbles up from the dark corners of the internet you risk the Streisand effect by bringing attention to it.
AI can crank out 40 in a minute. 7200 in three hours. That's an entirely different beast. The sheer mass and volume ramps up the odds of any image bubbling up from the dark corners of the web falling into the limelight and now this problem that wasn't big enough to merit thought is rearing up it's ugly head right in front of us.
You can generate unique pictures of Taylor Swift faster than even Taylor swift can generate pictures of Taylor Swift. Within one hour of Taylor swift being seen with a man (and you have enough images of the man) you can create a dozen images of her on a date with that man and attempt to sell them to paparazzi.
The problem is volume. Just like how email made everyone connected and allowed the Nigerian Prince scandal to occur.
look, I can understand the argument that you must vote for the most effective way to contain an evil. It's a good solid argument.
However it starts taking damage almost immediately when:
The plan to fight the evil is using the most disliked president in recent history to win a popularity contest.
They pre-emptively destroy any and all opportunities to find a better candidate to win the popularity contest against the evil.
They refuse to debate anybody just like the evil they want to defeat. Making it impossible to verify they're the one for the job.
They forcibly re-schedule the primary schedule to delay any signs that this plan might be a terrible idea.
Their age is seriously in question, their mental acuity is in question, and they also decide to dodge being in a completely unscripted environment for two hours while standing.
Certainly with all this you can at least understand why someone would rather vote third party, because this Biden option is not making me feel any safer.

You know genuinely I don't understand why this isn't a thing. It's expensive to have two homes, especially when you aren't even sure you'll have the job for more than four years. It would lower the cost of entry into politics for people who do work minimum wage.

I mean, that's a quest at it's core but a good game works it into a narrative and makes it blend. Ideally making all 6 steps anything but tedious. Ideally interesting and fun, but at all times avoiding tedious like the plague.
Two identical "perform quest for NPC"s, which is your step 4. Negotiate for a thing in a briefcase from somebody who probably will double cross you.
Which one is more tedious? Now combine a 4 minute run in a barren wasteland in your steps 1 and 6...
A few other things that Cyberpunk did, There are several ways to handle that mission, those several options can cause 3 major shifts in that faction. Which affect other missions later on, indeed any time you deal with the maelstrom gang.
Cyberpunk had a lot of flaws but, they're at least innovating. I've never been in a legit standoff like that in a game. It's always been in a static looping animation at 8 paces.

I always use edge whenever I'm making a public presentation with a computer I use. Simply because I never use it. Then autocomplete won't embarrass me if we look something up.
So far it requires a spellcheck, a grammar check, An entire paragraph spends way too long setting a premise and then an example that does nothing to its premise. His entire intro was a ramble that confuses me to what the hell this was supposed to be a thesis about.
Like there's a single line that says this essay is about "a set of right-wing intellectuals who have come to be labeled the “Conservative Revolutionaries.”" It took you 2 and a half pages to communicate that to the reader, but I still have no idea

wandersong is a super simple game that she might be able to play. You play a pacifist bard who just is naive, friendly to a fault. The bard is a male, but the villain, supporting cast, it's quite diverse with some strong females cast in. It's got a pretty good story and a lot of sesame street level lessons on life in there too. Even starts a conversation on what strength truly is. Totally something you should look at.
Slime rancher is another super chill, might actually be able to play herself, game where you do play as a female protaganist, but much lighter on plot than wandersong. You basically farm cute adorable slimes and it's genuinely pretty addictive and super relaxing after a shitty day.
Mirror's Edge you play as a female protagonist. Plot might be a bit steep for her.
If you haven't played through portal 1 or 2 yet, I bet it could be fun. Glados is silly, Chell (who you play but doesn't talk) is female and she can help you with the puzzles a bit.
