Rick Scott, Fucking Rick Scott. That is still posting election lies, nominating Trump, denying Global warming, and the single reason the cruise industry has been able to skirt environmental laws.
He's done nothing for his state of Florida and expects to have a signature like he represents them.
… If we continually restrict the freedom of marriage as a legitimate social option, when we do this to people who are a ripe, fertile age and may have a pregnancy and a baby involved, are we not, in fact, making abortion a much more desirable alternative, when marriage might be the right solution for some freedom-loving couples?” he said.
Gross.
He believes child marriage should be an option, so abortion isn't an option. I would expect this from 4chan, not a government official.
“Charlie approached RNC chief of staff Chris LaCivita about potential time commitment conflicts and it was agreed that while we appreciate and value Charlie’s expertise and professionalism he could not do this role full time and still maintain the obligations to his law firm practice that he has spent years successfully building,” Alvarez said.
That's a strange way to say, "If I held this job, I'd have to stop practicing law."
Dude made the smart choice.
Trump originally approved of the hiring, one source told CNN, but sources said the former president was angered after his allies pointed to clips of Spies criticizing the false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
I am starting to think this job is only available to Trump's twitter followers.

Forums and messengers existed before Facebook came along. The one thing Facebook did right, was make it easier to access.
Same thing with Google, search engines existed, google just made it easier to use.
I am not sure if it was crypto, or NFTs, but something happened to these tech companies, they stopped making things easier to use, and started trying to make every byte of data into a dollar.

How is a PAC that is dedicated to tearing down climate science, vaccines, responsible gun control, and healthcare, going to run on a Pro-Science platform?
Some three dudes were ripping apart barricades and one of the older staff started trying to stop them. They basically said "no way you can stop us old lady."
Watched as three counter protestors held down and punched out one dude.
Someone threw a lit 3-5 lb firework into the protestors.
Tons of mace and tear gas.
Worst thing I saw done to the counter protestors was a guy getting a splinter from trying to remove one of the boards.
Going through it, it seems that most of this is performative, as hate speech laws have more teeth then this bill.
What I don't like is the broad interpretation of antisemitism, however, I don't see how this law can hurt protesters. As most of the protests I've seen aren't including hateful message towards the Jewish population, but more of a criticism of colleges/officials donating to a genocide.
Unless... criticizing genocides are anti-semetic.... then all hail the god emperor.

Rule 3. Thou shalt not post thy IQ on the internet.
The guy who scored 167 at IQ test when he was a kid? Sadly logic does not follow emotion. If you want to argue back, then you need reason to be on your side.
Rule 26, If thou criticize communism thou needeth to do more then just question it.
Can you give me examples of socialism working?
Can you name at least one socialist nation that seek equity?
It's kind of hard to see what was said going by just your word alone.
Did people threaten you?
Did people make death threats against Disney personnel?
Or were they just angry about the price increases?
Being angry about a price increase when prices are increasing is a pretty human experience. Also a pretty common thing to be hated nowadays.
So I do not know, but I wish you luck and greener pastures. This place is a diamond in the rough, and it is going to need years of polish. But so far, my experience hasn't been a bad one.
I do not think it is wrong to be cautious, or at least have some pieces on the table in case something breaks out.
Which I am sorry to say, could very well happen.
1:5 Americans believe that an act of force is justified. RIght wing or left wing, that could be a terrifying concept if someone motivated by zealous anger to attack a protest they don't fully understand.

I know many people will shit on Kaiser for being a health insurance company, but as a person who has work through Cigna, UHC, Humana, Kaiser was the only health insurance that I felt people were being helped, had access to that help. With no hassles.
It's a fucked up system, but kaiser was one of the few I would take a slap for. Everyone else can get shit on.

Yes I can separate the two. German civilians vs. Nazis. The fact we have a reformed Germany that is shouldering the burden in Ukraine should have been exhibit A. People can change countries when they are not burdened by psychopaths.
Hamas has done terrible things. Israel has done terrible things.
Except we condemn the Hamas actions, and Israel gets a mountain of excuses and military aid.
Strange .. I don't remember storming a capital building trying to subvert our democratic process....
All I suggested is that not everyone in Gaza is Hamas. That 6 year old girls are way to young to understand what a Nazi even is.
And that Israel's tactics for a hostage situation is deplorable. Considering they used more Bombs in a week then the USA dropped in Afghanistan in a year.
