Biden promised to now turn to the Higher Education Act of 1965 to restore student debt relief. He also plans to enact a 12-month repayment program that would help people with student debt avoid defaulting on their loans if they couldn’t pay and avoid years of bad credit ratings.
FYI, for Firefox on android, I had to use Firefox Nightly for this, as the main version doesn't support PWAs (for some reason)
Edit: I take it back, when I tried to do the install on regular Firefox a few days ago, it didn't work. It does work now, so regular Firefox works for this!
After a full listen, I think that the overall sound of the record is really good, Homme’s vocal performance is great, and there are definitely some really groovy guitar parts throughout. I think the main thing I’m missing is some seriously heavy instrumental sections that just make my jaw drop, which are some of my favorite parts of other QOTSA and adjacent projects (thinking about Song For The Dead, Keep Your Eyes Peeled, No One Loves Me and Neither Do I).
My favorite songs are probably Obscenery, Paper Machete, and What The Peephole Say. I’d probably rate the album as a 7/10 if I had to rate it? But I’m really excited to see how the individual tracks grow on me as I keep spinning this over the next little while!
I saw a post talking about whether or not to defederate with Beehaw, and then I saw a comment talking about a decision that Beehaw made and something about them being liberal, but I'm ootl. Could someone explain the situation?
Thank you, that is a perfect answer! Tbh, I also sort of just wanted to get a post up to jumpstart this community because I think the subreddit is one of the most useful for figuring out what's going on. Hope this gets the ball rolling!
And then have no activity in them. Not quite sure why this is happening, is it power hungry idiots thinking if I make fifty magazines, maybe one will be popular?...
I honestly feel like this is slightly cynical, because I think it’s much more likely that someone was coming to a new platform and looking for a specific community that they enjoyed lurking on in the past. Once they got here and saw it wasn’t created, they created it themselves in the hope that other people (or maybe even themselves in the future) would work together to populate it with content. While this is not necessarily super helpful to building the community, it does have some value because someone now can come along and find a magazine with an audience already prepared for content, instead of having to build it themselves.
The biggest problem with kbin is honestly quite simple, but I don't people is talking about is the fact that finding the magazines that I'm subscribed to is in Settings > Subscribed, on Reddit, it's literally in the top bar, I don't get why it's buried in settings. Another thing is why is my home page full of posts from...

I recently bought my first V60 purely because I got tired of brewing my AeroPress multiple times for multiple cups and I didn’t really enjoy any of the AeroPress recipes for 2 cups. In theory, I’m definitely excited about the AeroPress XL, but I’m definitely worried about the new ownership of this company that was a passion project for so long!

Before I started drinking water regularly, I never even thought about it. But since I started carrying a watter bottle for singing in college, now I feel super dehydrated if I don't have it with me
I'm not sure I understand why "Threads" and "Microblogs" are separate entities in kbin. From my understanding, "Threads" are like Reddit's link/image posts and "Microblogs" are like text posts. Why are these only viewable in separate tabs? It seems like a bad thing to completely separate certain content from the same Magazine and make it unable to view everything at once. Am I misunderstanding something?
I think the main compliment I can give this movie is that I never once checked the time. When "To be continued" hit and I realized the movie was over, I could have sat there and watched another 2+ hours. The incredible animation, likable main characters, entertaining side characters/cameos, and compelling story all combine to make Across the Spider-Verse intensely watchable, and I really can't wait for the next movie.

Spider-man Across the Spiderverse is a genuine 10/10
