I do have this issue occasionally. Here are a few tips:
make sure the metal contacts on the card are facing up (it may feel as if you're putting the card in upside-down)
don't force it
play with the angle a bit; I do find that these microSD card slots can be sensitive to the angle at which the card is being inserted
if all else fails, try removing the back cover of the device; this gives you a bit more room to play with, it can also release some tension (the other day, I couldn't get an SD card out of a device; when I removed the back, the card popped right out)
Looks great. I have been looking for something that can handle Dreamcast/Naomi/Atomiswave to augment my Miyoo mini+ and 351V. Not sure if lack of an analog stick is a good or bad thing. I really like it though.
It's interesting that they've added the active cooling here. Presumably, the metal shell of the RG405M provided enough of a heat-sink on its own. It also means that GammaOS will require additional porting work - I'd been hoping it would work out of the box.
Black-Seraph posted his last GarlicOS update to his Patreon back in April. Knowing that he's being paid by Anbernic to provide GarlicOS to them I wonder if ceasing public updates was part of the deal. Is there any way to get GarlicOS updates from Anbernic?
Do you know what caused the corruption to your retroarch.cfg? It may be useful information for people who experience the same behaviour and stumble on your post.
