this must have been delicious, to attract so many different bees. I took loads of photos, trying to get them all in. This is what we hoped for when we planted them.
It's a Collarette dahlia, ridiculously colourful, a real joy to see in the garden. And obviously not only for us.

We built our garden for both of us, pollinators and ourselves. There is a rich source of nectar and pollen here, maybe the best around, especially at this late season, so you could be right.
It's amazing to see them all flying over and around the flowers. We were watching yesterday afternoon. So many!
