Maybe once every 10 yrs, a boom in Jellyfish comes up the harbour. Kids & adults were up the river tubing. When they reached the mouth of the river, they were trapped by 1000s of small jellyfish.

I used my boat to rescue a few, stingers were everywhere.

I'd never seen so many, that make it to the river.

This is normal on the islands, they're rather pretty

A full big jellyfish in shallow water. Still some stingers left, but the dark purple body, with octagon white V markings around the fringe of the body.

On a desktop PC, I have a dozen windows open.. the cat, Teddy, loves physicist (as do I), he recognized his voice, and came to watch with me. He's a smart . Maybe he knows more than you? I didn't know Tanna Tuva, did you?

@Rasta ..Glad of your introduction to Richard F... and yes had read of slightly when was doing history search of family tree...but showed more of some of history not the musical aspect... we have voice singers here famous in Canada...but not men ..the women Eskimos or Intuit...Susan Agulucuk ? is famous and won some contest...

Nearly time again. #Halifax had the world's worst accidental explosion in the world, at that time. #HalifaxExplosion 6 December 1917
Some 2,000 people died and thousands more were wounded. Before Christmas, in frigid winter conditions. The explosion generated a 60 foot Tsunami wave, combined with the explosion, it leveled the city, destroying 1600 homes.
Parts of ships, were found many miles away.

@Rasta outdoor lights are my JOY lights and make me happy at anytime of year..not had up any now for a few years with being sick..have jar's of glowing pebbles in kitchen window over sink bwirh LED lights that put on for a while ND then let glow for how ever time they last.
Left them just awhile ago...the kids refused to go to sleep when I had my 24 solar lights ND my Citron pots lite and looked like a fairyland out front..where we adults would sit and kibbutz for a bit without kids ...

@Rasta loving that idea ..have been wanting to light the pine by my parking space and the Elm in front of neighbors home ..but did not want to get into trouble with landlord and the envy of others...have found over the years many have modeled some of the things I do or have done...these also are the ones who have broken into home and stolen things years ago...

I know and do and still like to watch the romance of Chritmas movies which do not bold up the gift giving in useless manner ...

Did you see where my calls to complain about got me $40 back @Lstn2urmama ?
I got a free install for my neighbour too, after complaining they cost him money for their repeated failure to install on repeated dates. (He told me yesterday he didn't know why LOL, he was using my phone to call them, and they called back to me, and I gave them an earful about the runaround and how poor their services had become. So, he got FREE install, I got $40 back, for drives to another town to call them

@Rasta ..let's not get me started on the 15 techs sent to FIX security system they installed ..NO MANUAL exists! Not told this till after installed and gave me a page of installation ! Pathetic..cameras changed 3 times maybe 4 ..starting to lose count..one works when nothing there and does not work when someone is ant the other has lost sound cannot answer anyone at door and likes to give me video of birds by it..DAMN THING STILL DOES NOT WORK TELUS...

OH! You're awake! It's about time! It's past 4am!

I'm balancing out now, & I slept 5 hours! It's been awhile since I got past 4, should have tried for 6, eh?

Feels like there should be frost, but it's about 5 degrees. I've been shutting off the heat before bed, and back on when I wake, I find it more comfortable and quieter overnight.

I might go longer next time, the house isn't cold, but there's cool corners.

My can't get his eyes open.

@Rasta sorry to see that happen there ...been a while since I had any good neighbors now in last 5 years ..have One that is 4-5 houses away that comes: takes garbage out;they feed me every once in a while..we kind of look after each other ; this also teaches the kids how to look after elders since they do not have any here & respect ...I used to bake huge commercial pan cakes: give 2/3's of to them ..that was gone in an hour or so ...have told them not to move so we could support each other...

@Rasta ...understood ..have had to deal with own battles in last 31 years here with all the escapades of bad neighbors... worse are always the ones on either side of you in townhouses and it was 5 of them who broke in to my home and robbed me in 07 when gone to work...
