Wertham is a fascinating man. He was born to Jewish German parents, left to America well before the Nazis took power, and opened a clinic in Harlem where he took care of black children for free.
And then in the early 1950s he wrote an influential book, "Seduction of the Innocent", that created a massive backlash to comics and impacted how they would be made for decades.
After the Library of Congress released his manuscripts, it was revealed his sources were all bunk.
So the moral of the story is #AI will lie to you, and could cause you to censor yourself too. If I took it at its word, I wouldn't have learned about American history and about why #comics from the 60s onward look the way they do.
The USA never officially censored comics, by the way. The Senate hearings spooked them into compliance, and they created a #ComicsCodeAuthority to censor themselves.
