My #Stonehell group has acquired the Gloom Crown, and has decided not to give it to their dark elf patron (darn) and want to destroy it. Given that it's up there on the minor artifact level, I figure it'll take something special to destroy it. Anyone have any ideas? #dnd #inspiration
Thematically, does all that life that the crown drains go anywhere? Is it just sorta contained inside it?
Maybe if they got the crown to drain life from some evil semi-undead (or demonic or shadow or whatever) being then it would poison the crown and cause it to crumble. Of course, that would entail going on a long adventure to find a suitable nasty creature to drain.
