This years #Eurovision was filled with wonderful music and artists, but your politics, dear EBU, yes, YOUR politics at this event, where you loudly claim it’s unpolitical — it stinks.
YOU, dear #EBU, with your arrogant and intransparent handling of YOUR actions and decisions, YOU made #Eurovision political. Now accept that responsibility and make things right. Music HAS the power to be political and cause change. And that is a GOOD thing. So grow some b*lls, fix your mess and do better. Thank you.

I don't think I'll bother watching it in the future, the silliness and fun has gone from it.
It's just another tool of global authoritarianism now, and that's not fun.
May I remind you, dear #EBU, that Countries cannot be EBU members[1]. So no country flags? Only broadcasting organisations can be member, associate or approved partner. These can however also be members of the Council of Europe. Whose flag is, you guessed it, the European flag[2]. So your argument makes no sense.
@jwildeboer I know and I don't agree with EBU's policy at all. But you seemed to mix up the EC and CoE in your post, but they are different organizations.
To make it even more confusing, they're physically located directly opposite the European Parliament in Strasbourg in the European Quarter together with the ECHR (which isn't the Court of Justice of the EU in Luxembourg).
@jwildeboer If I understood the Dutch commentary correctly, the person harrassing Joost was of the same origin as the persons harrassing the Spanish journalists and other participants. So it was really political. (and one nation violated the EBU rules by promoting voting as premium ads on YouTube and Social Media... and did not get punished for it - so yes, it was a political decission)
