First it started off with a huge frustration at work which lead to me getting quite verbal about some stuff that, quite frankly needed to be said, but now necessarily in the manner in which I did it. After I calmed down from that though, came another headache.
I tried to get Auto Insurance again through State Farm but they wouldn’t write me because I have 2 2020 Hyundai’s that have key starts.
(2/4) Evidently Hyundai/Kia, certain years, are a target of increased theft and State Farm and Progressive have stopped covering them to protect their users from having increased policy amounts. I was like…come again??? I literally just had y’all, you just covered me. Well they couldn’t do it. 😔
Now I had to go shopping for new insurance. After spending quite a bit of time, I land at Geico and they quote a fair price for the coverage I need. I proceed to purchase it.
(3/4) So, I go to purchase it and right at the very end it tells me there was a problem and can’t proceed. It gave me a number to call. I did also give me an email that gave me more details. At this point I am getting frustrated 😩.
Basically I needed to provide verification to them that I indeed get the software update for the Anti-Theft system for both cars. So after having to find the receipts and sending them in, we get it all sorted out.
Sorry to hear about the work stuff, but hopefully it helps at least a little bit and gets whatever issues there were into a better place.
The car insurance thing is just absolutely crazy. Seems now days there's so many things they require just be able to provide coverage. I miss the days where none of that was necessary.
