I know this might be heresy, but does anyone else think the whole Carol Vorderman explosion is just a little overcooked? Great she's speaking out and all that, but she's not the fucking messiah.
@fkamiah17 the turning of political issues into a he said, she said story is dire its covered like a soap opera instead of actual discussions about the issues themselves. Not vodermans fault... but its incredibly depressing all the same
@Alexlee Truth. I wasn't really attacking Carol, just the elevation of "stating the obvious with a big Twitter following" to a career in journalism (she's just been hired by LBC) and the people's champion.
@fkamiah17 Despite the things she’s been saying lately very little about her feels coded liberal, maybe I’m influenced by the stuff she’s been in adverts for.
@Wen Everyone with more Twitter followers who say the government's crap annoy the Tories.
All I'm saying is, reading her tweets, there's more incisive, intelligent analysis on here in five minutes than everything she's posted.
I didn't mind it with Lineker but Vorderman's made herself into the people's champion after what - putting some letters on a board for a few years?
