There have been efforts to #criminalise people who live on the streets in the #UnitedStates.
Supreme Court judges are due to rule on whether a law that essentially makes being #homeless a crime, is #constitutional.
The ruling could affect the lives of more than half a million people.

Making homelessness a crime would not stop people from being homeless. It would only help the US industrialized prison slave labour sweatshops - which is another state sanctioned, capitalist fueled, cruelty upon itself.
It's like they are constantly thinking of ways to victimise the weak and the poor.
Not only that, at the same time they are also figuring out ways that they can profit from others misfortunes.
Does the word humanity not exist anymore?

@maddad I don't think it exists for many politicians in public offices now - on both sides of Canada/US border & in current political parties. Only a tiny few left, who still have humanity, have not sold out ethics to lobbyists' bribes & brave enough to still stand up & speak against their own party leaders.
I know it's been this way forever, but for some reason for me, it seems to be a lot worse these days. So many people want to just push the less fortunate aside and bully their way through.
