The "pro-#Palestine" movement has been hijacked, and is now a vehicle for an overtly #antisemetic agenda. #AlecBaldwin attended a "Free Palestine" #rally in #NYC, and the first question a protester asked him was whether or not he supported #Israel since he "works for #Hollywood." And this isn't a fluke. #Antisemitism permeates this movement.
@jupito This isn't the sole indicator that the movement has been hijacked. I'm actually giving them the benefit of the doubt that it's been hijacked, and isn't the actual intention of the movement. Have you been to any of these free Palestine rallies or protests? I have, and antisemitism and virulent bigotry permeate these events. I'm not going to pretend these people are acting in good faith when their rhetoric is straight out of Nazi Germany.
@johnb48@cat_static There's no difference between what you're saying, and what Trump supporters said about the Jan 6th Insurrectionists. They couldn't be real. They just had to be antifa dressed up like Trump supporters. Denying reality doesn't change reality.
