What do you mean by "other countries"? You have to adapt to the fact that the Fediverse is a worldwide forum, certainly not a US one, and that most of the time English is used for convenience.
I mean some of my favorite recipes come from places other the America, which is where I live. I deal with metric all the time in cooking.
You asked which types cups/spoons or grams. It really doesn't matter. Conversation charts exist for a reason. Almost all my baking recipes are metric. I love all food, from everywhere. I love trying new things, especially food from different cultures and places. If I can find the ingredients I'll give it a try. I find food is the best way to learn about people.
@Pookie1804 Thanks for posting this recipe! Carbonara is a family favorite. I make mine a bit differently (for example I use pancetta rather than bacon and olive oil in place of the bacon fat). I'm going to try your version next weekend.
