@moira Raining here (seriously). It's been teasing all afternoon. Bits of rain, but I'd say this is enough to be benefit, but the rumbles aren't that great a thing to have with them. Still probably overall an improvement.
@moira That's nice. I've not really got a good idea of how much rain we're getting. It seems like it is a decent amount, but earlier I went out just after what sounded like a short, but significant rain, and there really was no sign. But it's been raining pretty steady for a while, so I think that's a good thing...
@moira That's less close than Weather Underground. But sort of looks like it's more like what WU used to be. Though maybe more "commercial". But still less "we are big weather company" and more "we are reporting weather from individuals".
@jigmedatse They're definitely in the "we are reporting weather from individuals" camp at least for now. But (like WU) they are a for-profit company. Just... not one that's been bought and incorporated into larger companies multiple times.
