Personally, I think it has been worse than that - a hostile takeover by conservatives infiltrating the Labour party to negate the usual two-party state of affairs
@sufferforme I don't agree. It was a hostile takeover of the actual Labour party by its own right wing, which then moved further right to cement its hold on power because it believed that playing to the gammons was their way in.

Maybe not, but I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they believed the labour party was more their natural home than any of the alternatives, when they joined.
Nearly all of Starmers top people should have joined CHUK when that happened though.
@duckwhistle@sufferforme The operative point there being "when they joined". A lot of the front bench have, shall we say, adjusted their world view to increase their salary.
