●Harrass a tenant
●Book a tacky cruise
●Moan about kids these days
●Snitch on a neighbour
●Hit a child
Confession time - we do go on cruises, and enjoy them greatly (sorry - very environmentally bad of us, I know, but my other half can't fly and we still want to travel))
Yes, there are types we wouldn't normally associate with, and we don't.
Yes, many of the ships are a bit "gross" (especially the US lines)
Yes, at the end of some longer cruises, there is some "flag-shagging". Will take my own supply of Y Ddraig Goch next time 🤪
@Henrysbridge@fkamiah17 I will think absolutely terribly of you for taking cruises and I reject your excuses. However, people are multifaceted, and I'll allow for the fact that you may have other redeeming qualities
@Greenseer@Henrysbridge I'm afraid I'll have to agree (on all counts, including the redeeming qualities). I can't forgive using "we still want to travel" as an excuse - many people, including me, do too but make the responsible choice. Cruise ships are some of the worst polluters on the planet (some worse than planes) and they damage the environment around the places they dock (see Venice). Also they're a massive eyesore.
@Greenseer Anecdata would suggest they're full of flagshagging pension-age gammons with pretensions to upper middle classhood.
But tbh you only have to look at the boats themselves to know the truth 🤣
