You can turn the sound off!!! There are hidden commands for lots of major microwave brands!! For mine it was holding down the 0 button. Just do a search and see what comes up online.

It's been a sanity saver for me.

I have a lifetime of habit I have to break and still stop it at one second left maybe half the time 😂

I always thought it had to be disassembled and physically disconnected. I never knew that program that in.

@JeremyMallin @dyani @actuallyautistic Being able to turn off the sound was a requirement when we bought our microwave, but it ended up not bothering anyone in our household, so we never turned it off. There weren't too many models we looked at that we couldn't find a sound off code online for.

for some reason. I figure if the beeps are the only thing keeping your microwave from harming you your microwave has bigger problems.

Yeah, I’m just not a big fan of the microwave it seems to always overheat or under heat.

It’s like set the minutes for half the time stir wait 5 minutes for microwaves to stop cooking test repeat process.
