Me: "Can you say that again? You took too long to get to the point and now I don't remember the rest of the statement."
Friend: "Hey fuck you man!"
Me: "No unironically, I don't remember"
Friend: "Oh, yeah sure <the previous statement, without delays>"

I’ve “read” entire chapters without absorbing a single word. It’s amazing to reread them and realize, yep, I didn’t catch any of this.

It’s what made me realize that I’m not actually good at multitasking.
