Basically it is something that stops text scraping without readers needing to do anything work (only the writer/publisher has to set it up) and it has been successfully tested to work with the NVDA screenreader.
I had been wondering for months why such a thing hadn't been made as I could see how it could be done, so in the end I've just been making it myself.
