Hi Jim,

ain't the antenna wire I see on the picture detune the dipole / affect SWR ?

Just asking - for my education. 🙂

-- My experiments with antennas, using a VNA, show quite some sensitivity to the immediate surroundings.
(OK, to this point, my antennas are still only tentative / compromise / balcony contraptions...)

@F4JWJ I've had my Buddipole for almost 20 years and have used this 6 Meter Yagi on Many occasions. Always tested it when setting up and have never had an issues with detuning.
