I need to take the "Big Dog" out more often. It handles the bands so smoothly into an using the 49:1 transformer and easy sending using the American Morse Equipment

As the was raging this morning 1400 UTC 10:00 EDT, this was me waving Goodbye to the 20 meter band this as my beacon showed fading band propagation.

@F4JWJ I've had my Buddipole for almost 20 years and have used this 6 Meter Yagi on Many occasions. Always tested it when setting up and have never had an issues with detuning.

It's Working. Only one 20m #morsecode #qrp #QSO but 20m #FT8 saved the day. Difficult syncing #GPS but so far my tools are working against the BIG BAD #geomagneticstorm #amateurradio #hamradio #pota #parksontheair

@AE4WX I had one CW 20m QSO at 1336 UTC. The last 40 minutes only one FT8 station received on 20 meters. I'm running a 20 QCX mini WSPR station just to collect data.

@G0TRT Oh it was easy. I got 10 for a valid activation in 12 minutes with CW. Switched over to FT8 after about 20 CW QSOs and got close to 100 FT8 QSOs.

It was a double barrel of fun during today's activation. pileup was so intense I had to stand of a bit. Even got in a little . Thanks Todd @KE2AEQ for hunting me today. Great to get you in my logbook.

@N0ZB Thanks Scott, I've never been one to stay in side the rails. Rarely afraid to try something different. Glad to hear your neck of the woods were spared any major storm damage. Forecast here projected for 3 -5" of rain, with hail, lighting, 60+ straight line winds and threat of spin up. tornado. Giddy Uo!
