I published the main board for my 8 voice polyphonic synthesizer https://github.com/polykit/polykit-x-mainboard

I've been working to shrink the main board to the same size as the SMD voice cards (55x95mm)

I've had to split it in two cards: one for power and audio output, and the other for all the control.

Still unfinished, but it seems to be possible...

IDC connectors have been changed to JST, and some pins removed:

J6 and J7, I2C connectors: +12V, -12V and -5V have been suppressed.
J8, SPI connector: +12V, -12V have been suppressed. I think that -5V will too.
J9, EXT Analog connector: +5V , -5V really needed? Thinking of splitting into two smaller connectors.
J10 EXT Digital connector: Maybe a GND pin should be added. Also thinking of splitting it.

This would be the complete set:
8 voice cards
1 audio & power card
1 control card
1 backpanel

@int21h @synthdiy so cool, looks great! How did you render this in one piece?

Every PCB can be exported to STEP in KiCAD, and then you can merge the STEP models, move them, rotate them, etc, in FreeCAD.
