At 01:24:30 the lights went out.

Right after that, the ship's course changed direction, heading towards the bridge.

It looks like the captain tried to change course when the lights and the engine regained power.

But 100,000 tons of mass has a lot of momentum.

@F100 @spocko It's part mechanical failure, part human error. They did drop one anchor. They should have coasted past the bridge and then tried to stop. According to some expert. Not easy when you are thousands of tons of rudderless and completely in the dark.
