My city (#CityOfEdmonton) turned a street in our neighbourhood into a one-way street with a contraflow bike lane three years ago. It's at least seven blocks long. To this day, there are no One Way signs. Not a single one.
Every time I am out for a walk/run/bike ride, someone drives up it in the wrong direction. Not an exaggeration -- every. single. time.
I have called 311 to ask about this three times. Jesus Mary HOW is this so hard.
last time the agent said she had entered it into the system as a sign request, and also put in a "callback request".
welp that was... several months ago. I thought this time there'd at least be SOME action since the time I called about it previously, the agent didn't even understand the problem and told me "the City of #Edmonton does not use One Way signs" (!!!??? 🤔 🤔 lol what??) and asked me to specify ONE intersection where the sign was required 🤦♂️
