3) What Senate & House should do is investigate the corrupt schemes by the foreign governments -- EVERY COMMUNICATION between the govt, its lobbyists, and members & staff of congress - as bribes to 1 official are no doubt tip of the iceberg of others they have or tried to bribe.

@egypt@saudi The rule re private citizens vs govt. officials concerns gifts - limited to $25. Gifts can be payments for services/goods & these require a JAG ruling in DOD. I returned a gift of dates in Ramadan as they likely cost $25+ to a Saudi contact who was very insulted.
