I think so, i used the gtk package from nix, but i can double check. Should i try another one?

not necessarily, what theme do you use? have you used a css file to customise gnome?

I use dark theme in gnome, but haven't touched any css myself. Everything is pretty vanilla since it is my work laptop.

Doom-city-lights

The headings (all levels) are darker and more bland.

#+title: etc. Is as expected, so the color works basically.

used m-x customize-face at some point? do you have a custom.el or a custom section at bottom of init.el

tbh never used doom so it might be related to that

I will check that tomorrow. I am using only a doom theme, but otherwise i am using classic emacs. Have to check 800+ lines of init file though 😂
