Unfortunately lion fish can easily live down to a 100m and have been seen down to 300m well below scuba range. A lot of people are doing good work hunting them but it is only taking the top off them.

I don’t know about that, though recreational diving ends at about 30m for safety and pretty quickly after that you get into your specialty breathing gasses.

Lionfish hunting isn’t new because they are an invasive species Most folks just use a spear. Water slows down bullets so they are innefective at range. Also salt water is corrosive even if the glock external is polymer this has to be really bad for all those small metal parts that require oil to function properly.

You better be real confident in your ability to completely flush all salt water from that weapon afterwards. Otherwise this will be a one time adventure.

Just crack everything open and stick it in there with a bit of PH neutral floor cleaner
