I think that they are incompatible in their respective missions. One wants to teach kids skills outside of what they would normally be exposed to and the other wants to sell cookies.
I would usually be sad to see another original RPG go 5e compatible but Neuroshima was infamously poorly designed ruleset, possibly worse than Shadowrun. I probably won’t be running it, but may steal statblocks for my 5e game if I need weird stuff again.
Imagine you are working 2 minimum wage jobs and rent has gone up. You are a single parent. Your car gets a flat tire and its 200 to replace. Do you open a credit line to fix the tire, skip groceries for a week or just don’t pay your cellular bill?
People aren’t stretching their payments because its fun.
