Nostalgia: Banjo-Kazooie released 25 years ago today on Nintendo 64.
Honestly I didn't quite believe it. I had to look it up on wikipedia to realize 1998 was that long ago. I getting old. Really old. Not even a meme old. Like real actual old.
newtraditionalists, Such a classic. Genre defining for the time. Great characters, awesome worlds to explore, great music. It still holds up too!!
beardedrhino, Just started playing it again recently (who knew it was on Xbox game pass??) and it still holds up. My kids think it’s pretty great too

benad, Kind of. Right stick up and down zooms in and out the camera, like the N64's C-up and C-down. Right stick left and right rotates left and right as usual.

This game was my early childhood, the soundtrack still lives rent free in my mind. Hmm I might be due to replay it through an emulator

I loved this game so much while growing up. It truly was a golden age of mascot platformers.
