Captain_Pieces,

Alot of b tier games that I don't think hit their true potential; just cause, infamous, red faction, sleeping dogs.

Edit: also splinter cell

SevenSwell,

Still holding out for Ogre Battle 64, there's really nothing like it.

HuntressHimbo,

I wish we could have a legend of legaia remake. I would love to see some of the body horror levels in modern graphics and if the remake really captured the post Apocalypse feel of the original it would be a masterpiece

NiceGlutes9140,

That game was amazing, I loved the progression of the Seru on your body as it progresses. Game felt like it was ahead of its time.

Varyag,

The Burnout, WipeOut and Ridge Racer series. All of those are perhaps the best arcade racers ever released on consoles, and they're all dead now. I've been playing the PS1 and PS2 games, and they all still hold up tremendously today.

dannyboy5498,

I miss the Jak games

DesTeufelsAvocado, (edited )

It is hardly known, but I miss the action rpg "Lost Kingdom" by FromSoftware for the GameCube. You summoned creatures and monsters in battle with cards and it had a gloomy, eerie atmosphere, I remember some really scary level. I found this at a flea market when I was fifteen, so it was such a special find, great artwork and music. It had one sequel, but after that the game disappeared. :<

Fuyuhikodate,

Super Mario RPG. IT was an awesome snes game and i would appreciate one in the style of the 3DS Mario rgps :)

hatecoach,

Rick Dangerous - It's time

Fuyuhikodate,

Funny i had the Same thought when i was reading the title

owl,

Max Payne Although I wouldn't be able to play it since I use crap PCs exclusively

iirc Remedy is actually working on a remake of the first two games now

Hands down, Jak and Daxter. Those were my favorite games growing up.
I also wish that Banjo Kazooie/Tooie would get a remaster.

A Hat in Time and Yooka Kaylee scratch that Banjo itch pretty well.

cyd,

I would like remakes of some 90s PC games whose various design quirks make them hard to get into these days.

Two RPGs from that era stand out to me: Dark Sun: Shattered Lands and Ultima VII. Both have world-building and immersive sim elements that still feel very modern, but have dated graphics and bad interfaces (and, for Ultima VII, a truly terrible battle system).

axus,

Ultima 7 was the first game I could build a house from logs in the pre-existing world, before Ultima Online and Minecraft. I had lots of fun exploring their hand-crafted world. Did my best not to steal from people :)

Legend of Dragoon. One of my favorite turn based RPGs.

PixelOfLife,

Robot Arena 2 (2003). I had so much fun with that game as a kid. A reboot with modern physics and graphics would be awesome.

smokinjoe,

General Chaos

Twisted Metal

NBA Jam: Tournament Edition

SgtStiglitz,

I would love a new Twisted Metal game. Hell - it doesn’t even need a reboot, just build 1-4 from the ground up like the did the Spyro or Crash Bandicoot trilogy.

WallCactus,

Freelancer. Space games are in demand right now. That's begging for a remaster, remake, or sequel.

I've been seeding a torrent of that for quite awhile because I think at this point it's abandonware.

Star Citizen is the freelancer sequel, it's just stuck in development hell
