I mean, this is probably a good thing, considering how over saturated the market is with "Engineers". Most engineers are working as anything but engineers. Hopefully, people now will choose to become engineers instead of it being the default profession of choice in India.

Completely agree with you. But I do feel bad for the 'engineers' who only pursued it because of family pressure and are now finding it difficult to find any jobs..
