VindictiveJudge, That one of the charges was a suspended license was mentioned in there. My guess is either he did something stupid and the cop ran his plates, or he was driving without plates.

Fredselfish, I guess the mini bike was actual motorcycle and yes you do have to a licensed to drive one. I guess these guys are so incoherent that no wonder judges throw the book at them.
ArmokGoB, Failure to present ID to the police is a crime here. The penalty is a fine, which they can’t serve you if you don’t give them ID.
Fredselfish, Hmm where here , because I been told we as Americans do not have to carry ID. You do have to have a license to operate a motor vehicle, but if I am out on a walk I legally do not have to carry id.

Fredselfish, I see well I am from Texas and reside in Oklahoma neither state allows officers to force you to show id. Why I was confused.

the_crotch, If the cop has probable cause to detain you, you have to identify yourself. I believe that applies to all states.
