@mamund i've had a theory that a good part of the "intelligence" we observe in LLMs comes from within us, akin to how you can solve actual problems with rubber duck debugging. i don't think that reduces the utility of LLMs at all, quite the opposite, but i think it's worth talking about how we humans aren't isolated organisms with clear boundaries between each other
