Which Mass Effect character do you consider underrated? Why?
In the interest of getting some conversation going in this new community, I would love to hear which character(s) you think don't get enough credit. Why do you think that is and what makes you like them?
Captain Bailey. Not because he was a great guy or anything, but he was a well written and voiced character. He is in 2 of the games and plays a somewhat important side role to the story.
I always wanted a mass effect spin off game that took place on the citadel. You'd play as a detective in csec and work with/under Bailey.
For me, I think a good example would be Greg Adams (the chief engineer). Other ship crew members like Joker and Doctor Chakwas, or even Gabby and Ken, get plenty of love, but it seems like most people overlook/forget about Adams.
I suspect it's at least partly because he's quiet, unassuming, and tends to mostly nerd out about the Normandy. Maybe that's also why I like him! The nerdy banter between him, Gabby & Ken, and Tali is great fun. I also love the quiet conversations between him and Karin Chakwas that you can overhear in ME3.
