For me the main concern is that the stories don't seem to add up.
The official line is that they need a vehicle for US funding - hence the non-profit. That's cool.
But why those specific people on the board? A crypto enthusiast. A Twitter co-founder. They weren't chosen simply to quietly administer the US non-profit.
So the concern is a change in direction towards Peter Thiele/Elon Musk/Marc Andreeson ideas ...
