aaitvedan,

Good job. I like the vertical Enter.

vertical Enter.

Ha! The one thing where I was a little smug with what I'd done. I admit I haven't really invested the time in actually learning this board that I might have, and IIRC the thinking behind Planck means that even one extra column gets away from the ergonomic philosophy, but this layout lets you go a surprisingly long way towards making a Planck more like a more traditional board. The vertical enter is not a world away from an ISO enter key (and of course most keycap sets have one!), and you can have both the more traditional arrow cluster with the alpha and punctuation rows remaining a bit more traditional. If you did want to use the "Apple ][" arrow layout, you'd even have room for a second shift key.

Then, if a proper Planck is more to your liking, ignore that rightmost column (or toss a couple of media or macro keys on there), and this is just the "MIT" version. It uses a RPi Pico and KMK.

And here’s the side view. I don’t like wrist wrests, and this one is a little taller than I would have wanted from a factory built keyboard, so the couple of millimeters saved with low profile keycaps is nice.

Don’t ask too much about the wiring, lol. Just be satisfied that it works.
