@arnowi Most people would say that 1L is overdoing it. I'm guessing that the type of person that would own a 2L bike wouldn't care too much.

I have a 900cc and the thing blasts away like mad. I guess it's the same as with the big Harleys now, bigger is more betterer.
I'm sure it will turn some heads though.

@arnowi I've heard folks in the past ask why you would want to own a 500hp Mustang GT when you are just driving around town all week. I think that it's the same with bikes. 95% of the time, you aren't going to use everything that the engine has to offer but that 5% of the time when you push it hard off the line and the smile grows on your face, it becomes worth it.

Objectively, the one liter engine isn't worth it but subjectively it is.

... and cheaper than a private pilot's license or drugs.

I agree but still 2L! 😄
1500 would give you the same smile. So would 1200. Ok, 1L might feel be a bit generic.

As for the sound, it has a beautiful rumble which is probably what they were going for, but so does my dad's 1200 Harley.

I'd still want to own one if I had the crazymoney.
