For anyone who watched The Jetsons and dreamed of a future of flying cars, that future could be up for pre-order as soon as this year, according to Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng.

Xpeng AeroHT aims to deliver its flying car to customers in 2026, the company’s president told CNBC, with the vehicle currently going through a certification process with the Chinese aviation regulator. Here’s more.

The state of U.S. made EVs remains underwhelming and now looks to remain so for many more years to come. US automakers remain hooked on high margin trucks, and EVs are too often large SUV types or extremely short in range.

I don't want to promote the horrible labor practices that, in part, make Chinese EVs so much more affordable, but tariffs and bans don't seem like the best way forward.

and are finding it harder to electrify their fleets than expected.
Current prices for EV step vans could be why UPS and FedEx have managed to rollout merely 1,000 EVs each. When you contrast the number of to those of UPS's global fleet of 150,000, the EVs make up a minuscule percentage of currently in service.

This is a follow-up post to my previous one about 1,000 or so Tesla, many Cybertrucks included, being abandoned behind the old Chesterfield Mall. Below is my 1st post and the 2nd an article talking about the Tesla being stored behind the old mall. Apparently they're running out of room to stick them.

Did you know that in 1884 that the first production-standard electric car capable of being reproduced and sold to the public was unveiled? Did you know that in the early 1900s 1/3 of all vehicles on the road were electric? They started to quickly disappear around 1920 with the introduction of petrol and Henry Ford.
Ferdinand Porsche produced an electric vehicle called 'P' in 1898.

After firing the 500-strong Supercharger team just last month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has quickly reversed course, claiming the company is still committed to spending “well over” half a billion dollars to grow its Supercharger network, reports Futurism.

Even Musk’s most ardent supporters were shocked by his tanking of this key department — something that sets Tesla apart from many of its competitors. So has he realised his mistakes, or is he simply trying to reassure spooked investors?
