I need help finding a movie about a girl trap in her own drawing. It was a movie that was filmed on HBO or somewhere in 2010s right before or after the movie Paper Town. The movie is about a girl trap in a mostly black and white drawing on her wall and she traveled with a thief of some kind to find a silver mirror to escape....
Hello, i need help finding a pretty old strange movie. I have recently deleted
Noticed a trend in recent years of the advertising material heavily editing the actors to beyond anything they even look like. It looks ridiculous.
I’ve started watching Westerns lately. I’ve watched the first hour of The Outlaw Josey Wales, very good stuff. So I have some sound films my list like Stagecoach, Searchers, Once Upon a Time in West, Lawman and Dodge City; but what about the silent era? I’ve only seen The Great Train Robbery from that part, what else would...
I like watching good comedies, any suggestions down in the comments would be wonderful....
FINAL EDIT: @nomad found it, it’s Roswell Conspiracies, thank you everyone!...
Why do actors hold the steering wheel so obvious in the wrong angle relatively to the driving direction on trailer shots? Oh my ocd…
It’s on Amazon Prime in the USA, it’s an Australian crime comedy. The first season finished this week and it is imo one of the best shows of the year
In payback to be enjoying the discussions in the Nimona thread, I wanted to give some recommendations back to this group and keep it active....
Movie InformationMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One:...
Synopsis: Nick Fury is so distanced from humanity he can no longer appreciate a full English breakfast; Gravik is so evil, he puts a bit too much sugar in his coffee....
I just finished watching this on Netflix and was really pleasantly surprised....
Apologies if you’re a fan of the show, but this thing was just godawful....
For the last few years franchise movies like star wars, marvel, etc. made money regardless of quality. However now it seems like audiences are being choosier when it comes to these kinds of tentpole releases. I’ve seen some people online say that the movie/theater industry is losing people in general but I don’t think...
I am intrigued when a Disney film for example adds a gay reference that is not relevant to the movie, so it is easy to remove when heading to China or something....
I just came back from seeing Asteroid City and it really has me at a loss. I've only seen The Grand Budapest hotel of his other movies but know of the inherent weirdness of his movies. I usually know how to classify and discuss a movie after I've seen it but this one left me kind of speechless. Not in the sense that I thought...
In the past, I have been watching many mysterious movies because they are exciting. But life sometimes is hard enough, why should I then at home watch movies or series which are realy brutal. I feel like movies/series always need more crazy shit to be still popular....
I recently saw the movie “Spy Game” and was wondering if there are English translations available for certain songs of the movie? Like for this one youtu.be/4VpT-ycQ8H8 and for this one youtu.be/dspM2QfR4B0....
First post on here had to be this:...
Just enjoyed the Convenant on Amazon Prime, decent quality action and an okay message about taking care of all those interpreters that were promised asylum in return for their help. Anyone else watch it?
I really like nearly all of Wes Anderson's work. I heard someone say this was like Wes Anderson trying to make a Wes Anderson movie... and I agree. Not that that's a bad thing, but things can often come across a little cheesy when someone knowingly "turns it up to 11" so to speak....
Lately I’ve using letterboxd and it becomes my favorite.
Saw this today and thought it was decent -- there were a lot of laughs and it avoided potentially questionable moments brought on by the premise with strong writing. The character moments feel authentic to towns with "seasonal" residents and by the end of the movie everyone comes off as nuanced with no outright antagonists...
