pineapplelover,

I disagree with the fact because they want to self host. Codeberg exists and is pretty easy to use. Been thinking of migrating there.

pineapplelover,

How else are you supposed to play Minecraft?

Edit: are we talking Java edition?

pineapplelover,

I don’t like Microsoft but don’t think I can run away from Minecraft. Got a server with my friends and I really like the game. What would even touch it as a competitor or alternative?

pineapplelover,

Which is probably even more unhealthy than regular coke since it uses the same or more amount of sugar but artificial sugar.

pineapplelover, (edited )

I swear I read somewhere that diet sodas had the equivalent amount of regular sugar but as artificial sweetener so it wasn’t really all that healthy. Apparently I’m wrong about this.

Edit: found one that says it has linked health risks to diet sodas but it’s not too sure why.

pineapplelover,

If you act dumb, people will explain it to you.

pineapplelover,

Went to a local farmers’ market over the weekend. Everything was very good, y’all should give it a try

pineapplelover,

If you’re saying local farmers pollute more then I think you’re mistaken. Local farmers by definition are local so they drive closer.

pineapplelover,

Read this scientific article and you might be right

pineapplelover,

I gladly donate it month to Signal. Love my freedom of speech

pineapplelover,

If you do play online games, be aware that everything can be permanently online.

pineapplelover,

Passports are functionally different too because with realid I believe you can only travel inside the country, with passport you can fly outside.

pineapplelover,

Glad to donate money to the team. Love their work

pineapplelover,

I have pretty much the same exact resume as OP and I’ve done home stuff like jellyfin yet I haven’t put that on my resume. I should do that then shouldn’t I, hee hee.

pineapplelover,

I think windows+v syncs to microsoft servers or something. I remember when I was running chris titus tech’s debloat script it removed that functionality.

pineapplelover,

What is this referring to? I think I’m OOTL

Do you use the device you torrent on for personal things as well?

I’m just curious as I’ve permanently dedicated my laptop to torrenting. I’ve been too nervous to install anything but the VPN and Firefox on it. Now, I’m curious to mess around with Linux some more, which is what I use on it, but I can’t fully test out what all I can do with it without signing into accounts....

pineapplelover,

Yeah, although, now that you bring it up, I might want to put it in a vm.

pineapplelover,

Well I have my port open in my lan but the only way to access it outside of my lan is to port forward. I don’t understand how you can say that all you need to do is open the port and the machine can be accessed.

Same concept applies for any other service like a game server.
