Right about now on this day in 1982, me and my mate were waking up after oversleeping on the morning of Queen's Milton Keynes Bowl gig.
We thought we were screwed and would be at the back as the gates were about to open.
We ordered a taxi and lamented this to the driver. He said he knew what to do. He told us there were multiple gates to get in and that one at the stage end of the arena was hardly used. He took us to it just as it opened. We walked in and ended up at the front!
