I’m sure that Nick Bostrom’s move from AI doomer to “maybe AI is going to save us” has absolutely nothing to do with AI making a lot of money for people who he wants to fund him.

Labour's Sadiq Khan has won a third term as London mayor.
Mr Khan, who increased his share of the vote, said it was an honour to be re-elected and thanked Londoners "from the bottom of my heart"

Email from O2 saying my contract is changing to have an annual increase that is RPI + 3.9% each April. It’s currently just an RPI increase.
The email says I have the right to cancel the airtime (cellular for US readers) contracts within the next 30 days without paying early termination fees.
I have iPad associated airtime contracts I don’t need. I’ll be calling them on Monday to see if I can cancel those. I always use my iPad on Wi-Fi at home. I can tether to my iPhone if away from Wi-Fi.
