The GOP has an electoral college advantage that hasn’t even begun to crack unfortunately. Additionally, 4 years ago they showed up in record numbers. Losing handedly doesn’t really change that fact sadly. The other sad reality is the “Romney republicans” (absurd to label after a candidate who never held the presidency but I get it lol) are a small % of the party now and most of them will still hold their nose and vote trump before throwing it away on a 3rd party and helping the democrats.
