The Senator's press team has already reassured the public that Feinstein still has every intention of continuing to represent the fine people of California.
There is old age and there is being a 90 year old ghoul.
I worked with a guy that was like 65 when i first met him. He was old, but he was still sharp when it came to his line of work. 10 years later, he was still doing some work but his brain was not the same anymore. Fast forward another 5 years and he was a shell of himself. Saying nonsense, claims shit that just isn't true, asking the same thing 5 times. It's fucking terrifying to imagine that someone like that is somewhere in charge.
She should have never had a congressional career after ordering the confederate flag to be flown in San Francisco in the 80s or after her “handling” of AIDs.
So it doesn't say she kept ordering it back up but it sure sounds like her hand was forced and she made sure to distance herself from the decision to take it down.
"I want to make it very clear that my decision is based only on Supervisor Ward's request," Feinstein said. "I'm not impressed because some group shinnies up a flag pole and tears down a flag."
Sounds pretty typical of her history of useless responses.
