Obligatory fuck fascism but one of the reasons Trump is so popular is because many rural, low-income households (mostly white) see their poverty and feel abandoned by those who are supposed to fight for them, ie the Democratic party.
I don't think these people are inherently bad because they voted for (fascist) Trump, even if they hold racist views. They've been brainwashed to blame minorities for their poverty, but at the end of the day we're going to have to work with them against capitalism
