michaelgemar, 9 months ago @nyrath Hmm...The "urban legend" of the SR-71 survival kit is almost identical to the items Major Kong recites in Dr. Strangelove, which came out a couple of years before the first flight of the SR-71: https://stalbert.bibliocommons.com/v2/quotation/108508183 The one notable difference is that the "forty-five caliber automatic" is replaced by the "low power 38 revolver".
