- Ed was my brother-in-law.
He died peacfully in his sleep yesterday afternoon following a valient battle with Parkinsons disease.The attached describes his actions as a 1st Lieutenant in Viet Nam in 1969 for which he was awarded the Navy Cross.
In 1983, as a Lt. Colonel he got a 4 am phone call that the Beirut Barracks attack had occurred; he was to get his battalion ⤵️
