Moving is tiring as fuck. Now sleeping in the floor for a few days and then go to the new house. Bunch of hours to package everything. Still leaving the other half which is taking everything out... well that will be a mom problem 😅
Update: after all these hours, the volumes have reached their destination. Finally some breathing space.
One never knows if the movers will just run away with everything and leave you hanging. Or if an accident happens and all your life is just there broken on the road...
@prcr it really is. They were almost one hour late when I got confirmation of them still being alive. Probably they caught traffic exiting lisbon at the hour they went.
And just now I also got confirmation of everything being put in place and being reassembled as finished.
@vascorsd In my last move the logistics company took two days to package everything up at my old place, transport the items to a warehouse where they spent the night, and then deliver everything at the new address.
Indeed, it was at least three times more expensive than what I thought it would be. But they were also super professional, careful, and organized, which kept my anxiety levels down. 😎
@prcr that seems very stressful. Glad it all went ok. This was much more expensive than I thought, but I had no idea about prices before asking for expected costs from a few places.
At least it's all done and they were also carefully protecting everything and disassembled and assembled everything too.
